Ludhiana, February 25, 2013: Taiwan machinery catalogue show has been organised from February 25 to 26 at CICU Complex here.

This exhibition has been jointly organised by CICU and Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI) represented by P.F. Huang Director Economic Division and Miss Julie Chuaungo, Taipi Economic and Cultural Centre in new Delhi.

Avtar Singh, General Secretary, CICU informed that main purpose of the show is to create awareness regarding innovative, high precision and high technology machine tools and low cost automation machinery at competitive rate available for improving manufacturing  efficiency and sharpening edge for the growth and development MSMEs in India. The adoption of such machinery will also help Automative Industry plagued by labour shortage.

Upkar Singh Joint Secretary CICU said that the response to this first of its kind show in Ludhiana is overwhelming as more than 1,000 visitors today and interacted in the exhibition.

The exclusive display of catalogue by more than 100 Taipei companies representing nine main industrial categories comprising machine tools, food processing machinery, packaging machinery, plastic and rubber machinery, textile machinery, shoes and leather machinery, woodworking machinery, machinery parts and industry machinery was the main theme of this show.

The adoption of latest  updated technology machinery will provide trouble free performance which will enhance production, improve quality, reduce costs and save labour to a great extent.

This show promoted globally competitive Taiwan machinery, created opportunities for industrial and technological transfer and trade between Taiwan and India.

Automation industry in this region is all set to get tremendous boost.

This show was visited by Chairmen, Presidents of various Industrial associations and leading industrialists namely  Manjeet Singh Khalsa, Satish Dhanda,Joga Singh, Phuman Singh, Tejvinder Singh (big-ben), N. S. Bhogal, Ghansham Bassi, Ram Lubhaya, Jaspal Singh Shahpuri, Rajnish Bansal,Harjeet Singh and others.
