Suspected cases of Swine Flu risen to 113 in Punjab

Chandigarh, February 12, 2015: With the reporting of some more new cases of Swine Flu (H1N1) in Punjab the total suspected number has risen to 113 out of which 45 have tested positive in the State till date with only 1 patient tested positive today.  Two more deaths both residents of Bathinda and one of Muktsar have been reported. The total deaths stand 19 till date with positivity for H1N1 and co-morbid complications etc.

According to an official information, people have already been advised to report within 48 hours in health institutions for any flu related symptoms and get the confirmation of disease as per clinical advice. They are advised to stay away from crowded places and infected persons and adopt respiratory etiquettes of not coughing or sneezing in open and use tissue paper, handkerchief etc for the purpose.
