The name of Sunder Nagar, Ludhiana has been changed to Jainacharya Samudra Nagar.The stone bearing this name is being unfurled with blessings of Acharaya Shrimad Jayanand Surishwar Maharaj, Muniraj Shri Kirti Vijay Maharaj, Muni Shri Divayansh Suri Maharaj by Chief Guest Parveen Bansal, BJP President Ludhiana District.
Ludhiana, February 19, 2013: With the blessings of Gachadipati Acharaya Shrimad Nityanand Sureshwar Maharaj the name of Sunder Nagar, Ludhiana has been changed to Jainacharya Samudra Nagar.
The stone bearing this name was unfurled with blessings of Acharaya Shrimad Jayanand Surishwar Maharaj, Muniraj Shri Kirti Vijay Maharaj, Muni Shri Divayansh Suri Maharaj by Chief Guest Parveen Bansal, BJP President Ludhiana District.
The ceremony started with singing of bands and recital of Maha Navkar Mantra.
Shri Atmanand Jain Mahasabha (Uttri Bharat) said with the efforts of Parveen Bansal and with cooperation of Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana and all its municipal councillors this has been made possible. It was with the efforts of Bansal that Fountain Chowk name has been changed to Jain Acharaya Vallabh Chowk.
On this occasion, Shri Atmanand Jain Mahasabha (Uttri Bharat) Patron Ramesh Jain Barar, President Surinder Mohan Jain, General Secretary Vinod Jain, Finance Secretary Sanjeev Jain CA, Secretary Narinder Jain, Dhanraj Raj, Parveen Jain, Shripal Barar, Rajesh Jain Raja, Ashwani Jain Bittu, Bitta, Vinay Jain, Narbhushan Jain, Ashok Jain, Pardeep Jain and Amrit Jain were among those present.
Sweets were distributed on the occasion.
