Summer Internship for MBA/MBA-IB students of PCTE-Ludhiana

Ludhiana, June 5, 2019: PCTE feels proud to share the highlights of summer internships of MBA & MBA-IB students for the current session, said a college release today. It added, all 180 students from MBA and MBA-IB are undergoing internships with stipend. PCTE is the only institute in the region where all student undergo summer internship with stipend. The average stipend ranges from Rs. 5000-7000 and the highest stipend goes up to Rs. 20,000. Out of the total 180 students, 7 students will be undergoing internships abroad in countries like Russia, Italy, Vietnam etc. It will help them in understanding international markets in a better way.

More than 60 companies approached the campus for the summer internships from across the country. Major companies and brands where students are doing Internships include Oyo Rooms, HDFC Bank, Karvy stock Broking, Salad Story, Dial a Bank, Business Standard, Times of India, J Marathon advisory services among many more. More than 50 students are doing internship outside Punjab in the cities like Delhi/ NCR Bangalore, Nainital, Jaipur and Chandigarh.

Dr.Gautam Bansal, Director, PCTE added that PCTE has always endeavoured to make students get best internship experience. College tries its level best to arrange internships in growing organisations, where students can get maximum exposure. Students are encouraged to learn various processes of the organisations so that they are acquainted with the corporate culture.

Dr. KNS Kang, Director General of the institute added that Students are encouraged to intern outside their home town to give them a chance to go out of their comfort zone and experience hardships and excitement of corporate life. PCTE has been encouraging students to undergo internships in metro cities and take up challenging assignments as the experience will add to their practical exposure and will also give them a different outlook towards their future professional life.
