Sukhbir greets people on the eve of Maha shivratri

Chandigarh, February 26, 2014: Sukhbir Singh Badal, Deputy Chief Minister Punjab today greeted the people of Punjab on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri.
In a message, Badal said that Maha Shivratri inspires people to strive towards the pursuit of truth that leads to the ultimate consciousness epitomised by Lord Shiva. The festival, he said that, laid stress on the values of piety, devotion, mutual love and harmony, the cornerstones of the great Indian civilisation.
