Sukhbir Badal receives kudos from industry czars

Chandigarh, October 28, 2015: Today was not only a red letter day for Punjab but also for Deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal. The Deputy CM won kudos from industry czars who lauded his can do spirit as well as his ability to deliver on his promises.
Leading the charge was Reliance Chairman MukeshAmbani. He said "the deputy cm has not only taken our suggestions but implemented them also".
Hero MotoCorp Joint MD Sunil Kant Munjal said "we appreciate your can do spirit". He said MrBadal had continuously pushed the envelope which had resulted in the results the State was getting today. 
ITC Chairman YC Daveshwar while appreciating MrSukhbirBadal's decision to waive off all input taxes on food processing industry, said this had not been done to help ITC but the people of Punjab. He said MrBadal had shrewdly realised the employment opportunities that would be created by this move as well as the buoyancy the new industry would give to the State's economy. "This shows the Deputy CM's commitment to the people of Punjab", he added. 
Industry veteran Rahul Bajaj of Bajaj Group while speaking at the investment summit, said proper planning had resulted in the success the State was achieving. He said MrBadal had come up with the right incentives which were needed to steer the State's investment story. 
Mr Ajay Piramal MD of Piramal Group said he had not seen anyone with the same dynamism and ability to get the job done as was the case with MrBadal. He said "if I had the same capability I would have done much better in my business". 
Mrs Chanda Kochhar, CEO ICICI said the manner in which Punjab had moved to attract investment clearly showed MrBadal's passion and determination to accelerate development of Punjab. She said Punjab had made very relevant promises in the first summit in 2013 and followed it up with processes which had made ease of doing business a reality in Punjab. MrsKochhar also lauded the fact that all the promises made by the State had been fulfilled. 
Mr Ajay Singh, CMD Spice Jet, said "I wish we had someone like him when we tried to rebuild Spice Jet airlines". Mr GVK Reddy Chairman and MD of GVK Group said "MrSukhbirBadal had a hands on approach in helping us implement our project and also monitored its progress at regular intervals". MrMalvinderMohan Singh of Fortis Healthcare while appreciating the presentation made by the Deputy CM, said he was personally delighted by Mr Badal's vision as well as implementation and execution of the commitments made by the State.
