Chandigarh, May 20, 2015: Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Mr Sukhbir Singh Badal today expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of Mr.S.K. Ahluwalia IAS (Retd) (67), who died late last evening at Patiala due to cardiac arrest. He was survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.
In a condolence message, the Deputy Chief Minister described Mr. Ahluwalia as an able administrator with the qualities of head and heart. Mr. Ahluwalia served the civil services with commitment and dedication while holding various important positions in Punjab and Central government. Expressing his heartfelt sympathies with members of bereaved family, the Deputy Chief Minister prayed to almighty to grant peace to departed soul and strength to them to bear this irreparable loss.
