Chohla Sahib (Tarn Taran)/Chandigarh, December 8, 2012: The response from the countries worldwide to participate in this 3rd World Cup Kabaddi 2012 has been over whelming, which ensure us that 25 countries would be part of next edition of the World Cup Kabaddi.
This was announced by Sukhbir Singh Badal, Deputy Chief Minister, Punjab today while addressing the gathering during a Kabaadi match at Chohla Sahib.
Sukhbir Singh Badal enthralled the local audience by announcing that the state government would invest Rs. 3 crore for the construction of ultra modern multipurpose stadium at Chohla Sahib. He declared that the next match of 4th World Cup Kabaddi at Chohla Sahib would be played in the newly built stadium. “Although due to some reasons the game of Cricket is being liked by the peoples but now with the commencement of Kabaddi World Cup, tendency of people has been shifted in favor of Kabaddi”, he added.
