Jalandhar, November 7, 2014: Carrying forward the torch of victory by living up to the expectations of one and all, the Skating team of Cambridge International School, Chotti Baradari-II, Jalandhar brought laurels to school by attaining envious positions in Punjab School District Championship held at APJ School, Model Town,Jalandhar. Various positions were attained by students in different categories. In U - 11(Quads)Boys ,Upkirat Singh attained 1st place in Quads Rink 2 and Road Race and Aditya Raj Singh bagged 3rd position in Rink 2 and Rink 1.Navkaran Handa stood 3rd in Road Race.
In U - 11 category (Inline)Boys, Manroop stood first in Rink1 and Road Race. Anhadjot bagged second place in Road Race. Sparshjot attained 3rd place in Rink 2 . A feather to the cap was added by the Champions Trophy being clinched bythe school in this category. In U - 14 category (Quads)Boys , Noordeep stood first in Road Race . In U - 14 (Inline)Boys, Karamjot attained first place in Rink II and Road Race. Abhinav also added to the tally of medals by securing 3rdposition in Rink I.In the category of U - 17(Quads) Boys, Aryan bagged first position in Road Race and Rink II.In U - 17(inline) Boys ,Nipun stood third in Road Race . Similar laurels were fetched by the school in U - 19 Quads Boys .Harsh Wardhan made the school proud by attaining 3rd place in Rink2 Road Race. Parth Mahendru bagged 2nd position in Rink I and Rink II .
In U - 19 Inline Boys, Gursehaj Singh stood 3rd in Rink I and bagged first position in Rink II. Madhur Sayal stood second in Rink 2.
Similar feats were achieved by girls in all the categories .In U - 11 Quads Girls.Aanya Mayor stood first in Rink II and second in Road Race. In U - 14 Quads Girls, Jasneet Gill attained first position in Rink II and Road Race, respectively. In U - 14 Inline Girls, Jasmine bagged first place in Rink II and Road Race. Prabhnoor enviously bagged the second place in Rink I and Rink II.
The winning teams and participants drew appreciation from Chairman Ajay Bhatia, Vice chairman Deepak Bhatia, Director J.K Kohli, Academics Director Deepa Dogra and Principal Kiranjoth Dhillon. The Sports department of the school was applauded by all for the
hard work put in by them for preparing teams and bringing laurels to school.
