Jalandhar, December 4, 2017: The students of CT Kindergarten visited Khalsa farm in village Sanghwal to get a whiff of rural life. Garbed in traditional attires, 165 tiny tots from pre-nursery to UKG classes saw village folks engrossed in traditional professions.
They enjoyed watching the working of Chakki and the process of making jaggery. The kids saw classical spindles and churning pots for cream.
Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi, Co-Chairperson, CT Group and Kindergarten In-Charge accompanied the group. The children sang and danced on folk songs and enjoyed themselves.
Mrs. Channi said that such excursions were necessary to make these kids remain in touch with their culture and tradition.
