Ludhiana, October 27, 2016: Medical students of DMCH yesterday organized Greeting Cards Making Workshop in Dumra Auditorium. During the workshop, students made number of attractive greeting cards.Principal Dr Sandeep Puri, Medical Superintendent Dr Sandeep Sharma, Dr Sanjeev Uppal and other faculty members also participated in Card Making workshop. Today, those cards were distributed to inmates of Swami Vivekanand Swarg Ashram Trust in Model Town Ext. area. The inmates of ashram felt elated on receiving Diwali Greeting cards from students. The students interacted with elders over there and listened to their vivid experiences. The students were also shown premises of Mediation Centre located adjacent to ashram. They were told about basic principles of medication.
Dr Sanjeev Uppal (Faculty Co-ordinator) expressed his happiness on the active involvement of students in society-related work and thanked the inmates of Swami Vivekanand Swarg Ashram Trust to enrich the students with their enriched experiences. President Roobal Bhullar, Secretary Shivangi Berry and Project Co-ordinators- Simarnjot Kaur and Khiati Goya extended warm thanks to their faculty and participants for making this event a memorable and meaningful for all the students.
