Students of Delhi World Public School participate in Punjab Open Cup - All India Karate Championship
Ludhiana, August 28, 2019: Sports competitions inculcate the spirit of positive challenges and sportsmanship among the students and prepare them for life ahead. Following this, students of Delhi World Public School, Ludhiana participated in Punjab Open Cup - All India Karate Championship organised by The Greatt School of Martial Arts in collaboration with World Modern Shotokan Karate Federation India. The championship was conducted for three from August 23-25 in Dayanand Manjal Auditorium, Ludhiana. The students brought laurels to school with their commendable achievements in various categories. Sammervir of class 1 won a silver medal and Rachit , Badal ,Divjot , Neeraj won bronze medals. Sports teacher Jagdeep and karate coach Ashok Chauhan felt elated and blessed the children for their crowning glory. On their return to the school, students received a floral welcome from the principal of the school Deepa Gupta who congratulated the children for the whole hearted endeavours and motivated them to excel to achieve the pinnacles of success.
