Students of B.Voc (Software Development) get placed in IT Companies

Jalandhar: Making the institution proud, the students of PG Department of Computer Science & IT of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar have successfully been placed in various IT companies. On this achievement, the students were honoured by Dean, Academics Prof.Jasreen Kaur and Dean, Administration and Head of PG Department of Computer Science & IT Dr.Manohar Singh.
Dr.Gurpinder Singh Samra Principal Lyallpur Khalsa College congratulated the students for the success and inspired them to bring laurels to their parents as well the institution with their achievements. Giving details, Dr. Manohar Singh said that Navjot Singh, Pawandeep Singh, Gurkeerat Singh Kalsi, Rishab Jassal & Prince etc of B.Voc.(Software Development)(2014-19) have been selected in Tagger Post, Veridic Technology(Chandigarh). Visions(Chandigarh), Omninos Solutions (Mohali) & Dhiman Technologies (Jalandhar). They will join the companies as ios and Android developer. Dr. Manohar Singh further said the college is proud of these students and these placements are an addition to the long list of students of the department who have been successfully placed in various reputed companies. It may be mentioned that PG Department of CS& IT has been running vocational courses since 2014 and Dr. Singh added that the college is committed to ensure holistic development of the students so that they become job ready.
