Students of B.Com organised fresher’s party to welcome new students of new B.Com Department of Commerce, Lyallpur Khalsa College

Jalandhar, October 28, 2019: Students of B.Com organised a fresher’s party to welcome the new students of new B.Com Department of Commerce, Lyallpur Khalsa College. The well maintained and disciplined program comprised of a welcome speech followed by various culture performances including Dance, Songs, Short-Skills, Games, both for teachers and students alike. Speaking on this occasion, Chief Guest Principal Dr.Gurpinder Singh Samra heartily welcomed all the new students and urged them to ensure best possible efforts for all tasks and assured them the availability of best teaching resources, practical exposure and training methods. Dr.Samra also suggested students to actively participate in all college level activities for the development of their communication and intrapersonal skills. Speaking on this occasion, Dr.Rashpal Singh also motivated the students to include social values and principles of personal excellence and on the behalf of the Department of Commerce, Principal Dr.Samra was presented with a memento. All the students, participated in the program with full enthusiasm and according to their overall performances, some students were short-listed for prizes namely, Mr. Fresher-Shitiz Rai, Ms. Fresher- Sakshi Sharma, Mr. Handsome- Shivjot Bhandari and Ms. Elegant- Harnoor Kaur. Stage on this occasion was managed by Prachi & Aastha. The occasion was also witnessed by Dr. Patwant Atwal, Prof. Ravneet Bains, Prof. Raminder Bhatia, Prof. Ubique Bedi, Prof. Rupinder Sampla, Dr. Amarbir Singh Bhalla, Prof. Amita Shahid, Dr. Navdeep Kumar, Prof. Vivek Mahajan, Prof. Baljinder Kaur, Prof. Manish Goel, Prof. Gurpreet Singh, Prof. Jyoti Vohra and other faculty members were also present in the occasion.
