Students of Banarsi Dass Arya Girls College bring laurels in All India Essay Writing Event 2018

Jalandhar, February 5, 2019: The students of Banarsi Dass Arya Girls College, Jalandhar Cantt, brought laurels by procuring positions at the State level in the All India Essay Writing Event 2018 organised by Shri Ram Chandra Mission, United nations Information centre and the Heartfulness Education Trust. Ms.Navjot kaur bagged a bronze medal by securing the third position; Ms.Amrita got the fourth position and Ms.Neeta won the seventh position from among the 94000 shortlisted entries at the state level. Even, nine students namely- Rupali, Meenu Verma, Gursharanpreet Kaur, Simran, Shailja Sharma, Tarandeep, Khushi Sharma, Inderdeep Kaur and Gurjit Kaur, received an honourable mention by receiving the certificate of Merit, Principal Dr (Mrs) Sarita Verma congratulated and felicitated the winners, and motivated them to keep chiselling their creativity in writing skills. Dr (Mrs) Surinder Pal, Dr.Meenu Nanda and Ms.Gurbakshish kaur, were the incharges of this event.
