Jalandhar, August 21, 2015: The students of Department of Design (Textile) of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar participated in a National Workshop on Craft and Skill Development in Sustainable Design organized in I.I.T., Roorke from 16 to 18 August 2015. This workshop was organized by the Centre for Urban Design and Development of the Department of Architecture and Planning of I.I.T. Roorke.  The students learnt about Wood Carving, Copperware, Weaving and Bamboo Weaving, and other arts and crafts of Uttarakhand from the seasoned craftsmen who were present on the occasion.                 Dr. Sucharita, Principal congratulated the team of students comprising Nimrat, Jaideep, Aparna, and Jasleen along with Dr. Gagan Gambhir and Dr. Maneet Kaur Chatwal, Assistant Professors in Design (Textile) who attended the workshop.
