Student Welfare Association of Apeejay College of Fine Arts celebrates Lohri with kids of orphanage

Jalandhar, January 13, 2018: Student Welfare Association of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar celebrated Lohri in a unique way with the kids of an orphanage of Jalandhar. The college spread smiles on the lovely faces of young buds living in the orphanage. The SWA of the College provided full support by distributing track suits, sweets, caps, peanuts etc. to the kids. College students gave a melodious flavour to the event by singing songs for the young children and also played some fun-games with them. Not only this, the College faculty and students along with the College Principal celebrated this auspicious occasion in the College premises with full gusto and zeal.
Principal Dr. Sucharita congratulated everyone on this event and said that College celebrates such festivals with the kids of orphanage who are deprived of a fortunate life style and this also teaches a lesson to the students to contribute their best in the society. She hoped that the bonefire of Lohri would burn away the evils of society.
