STATE-LEVEL INDEPENDENCE DAY FUNCTION TO BE CELEBRATED AT LUDHIANA

CHIEF MINISTER CAPT AMARINDER SINGH TO UNFURL THE NATIONAL FLAG AT GURU NANAK STADIUM, HERE

Ludhiana, July 20, 2018: The state-level Independence Day celebrations would be held in Guru Nanak Stadium, here on August 15, 2018. The chief guest of the state-level Independence Day celebrations would be Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh, who would unfurl the national flag at 9 am on August 15.
During a review meeting of the preparations, Deputy Commissioner Mr Pardeep Kumar Agrawal informed that the rehearsals for the Independence Day function would be held on August 8, 9, 10 & 11, 2018 at Guru Nanak Stadium, while the full and final dress rehearsal would be held on August 13, 2018.
He informed that an impressive cultural programme and Mass PT Show by students of different schools would also be organised on the occasion.
The Deputy Commissioner also urged all the officers and government officials to work really hard for making this function successful. He said that the attendance of all government employees would be compulsory. He informed that the review meeting regarding the state-level Independence Day celebrations would be held on August 9, 2018.
