BLOOD DONATION CAMP TO BE ORGANIZED DURING FUNCTION-SDM PAYAL
Ludhiana, July 4, 2019: A state-level function will be organized by Punjab government to pay the tributes to Bhai Maharaj Singh on his martyrdom day in Rabbon Uchhi village of the district on Friday.
SDM Payal Mrs Swati Tiwana who reviewed the preparations of the function, said that Technical Education & Industrial Training, Employment Generation & Training, Tourism and Culture Affairs Mr Charanjit Singh Channi will be chief guest of the function and will pay tribute to Bhai Maharaj Singh, who is also known as the first national freedom fighter.
She said that apart from the cabinet minister, the district MLAs and others will also pay the tribute to Bhai Maharaj Singh.
She appealed the people to make the function huge success by participating in the function and paying tribute to Bhai Maharaj Singh.
SDM said that a blood donation camp will also be organized and saplings will be distributed among the people.
On the occasion, Gurdwara Shaheed Bhai Maharaj Singh president Mr Karam Singh, Sarpanch Mrs Amarjeet Kaur, Mr Yadwinder Singh Jandali, Mr Malkeet Singh Goga and others were present.
