Inter-Zonal competition of PTU Football Tournament to held on Oct 25-26

Ferozepur, October 23, 2012: PTU Zonal Football Tournament today concluded at Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus, Ferozepur in which nine college teams participated, said director physical education, Dr. V. S. Bhullar.

The tournament was inaugurated by Tejpal Verma, Deputy Registrar. 

On the first day matches, SBS Technical Campus team defeated Asra College, Barnala by 3-0 and entered the semi-final list. 

The other three teams, which qualified for semi-final were North West College Dhudike, PTU Gyani Zail Singh College , Bahtinda and Adesh Institute, Faridkot.

On the second day, the competition was between SBS Technical Campus and North West College Dhudike in which North West team got the winning status by 3-0. Second position was bagged by PTU Gyani Zail Singh Bahtinda with 1-0. 

In the inter-zone competition, North West College Dhudi Ke and Gyani Zail Singh College Bahtinda teams were successful, which will be held on 25-26 October.

Director, Dr. T. S. Sidhu congratulated the winning teams.
