SPICMACAY to organise North Zone convention at DPS Ludhiana on October 28-29

Ludhiana, October 27, 2017: The SPICMACAY (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Among Youth) with its continuting belief of providing each and every child and individual the once life-long experience of Indian and World rich cultural legacy is organising its North Zone convention at DPS Ludhiana on October 28-29.
Addressing the conference here today, the SPICMACAY coordinator north zone told that the convention would organise classical inauguration of music and dance by Pt Kaivalya Kumar (H.Vocal) and Vid.Rani Khanam (Kathak) respectively. On second day, there would be magic of instrumental music of Sarod recital by Pt Biswajit Roy Chowdhury.
The convention has invited participants from all over North i.e., Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana and Uttrakhand. The convention will enlighten all the students participants and volunteers with two day session of different yoga starting early morning followed by shramdaan and heritage walk for visiting historical monuments.
The one many army, Prof Kiran Seth, IIT-Delhi who had started this mission in 1977 and with continuing support of people coming from all spheres of life, was also present at the press conference. He told that SPICMACAY had been a people movement and always invited individual from any field to contribute through their little time and efforts to the vision of multicultural education in our country. The upcoming programmes are first international student convention at Bengaluru from December 24-30, 2017 and sixth international convention at IIT Kharagpur from June 3-9, 2018.
