Speedo in association with Karnataka Swimming Association to host Speedo – KSA Invitational Swimming Championship in Bangalore
Bangalore, October 30, 2019: To inspire a new generation of swimmers and encourage the youth, Speedo, the world’s leading swimwear brand is pleased to announce that the third Speedo Invitational Championship will be held at the Global Swim Centre, Sadashivnagar in Bangalore in association with Karnataka Swimming Association (KSA). Speedo India along with KSA has created this event to provide a platform for the budding swimmers at a grassroot level. With an aim to nurture the swimming ecosystem in India, the third edition will provide an opportunity to hone their skills and win medals and certificates. The best performers will also be felicitated with Individual Championship certificates. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Neer Chauhan, Business Head, Speedo India, says, “We are delighted to bring the third Invitational Swimming Championship in Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi. The transition from learn-to-swim programmes to competitive swimming is a challenge for the swimmer. KSA facilitates this transition by conducting non-medallist swimming competitions. We are proud to associate with Speedo, a leading swimwear brand to conduct the Speedo Invitational Swimming Championships 2019 at Global Swim Centre, Sadashiv Nagar, Bangalore on the 9th of November. This championship will be contested in the non-medallist category between the age-groups of 8-14. The budding talents will be able to test their metal and contest for top honours. This meet will see the use of electronic touch-pad system to ensure fair-play and precision results.
