Spectacular Performance of Cambridge Students in Prativad (Inter-School Contest) GNA University

Jalandhar, November 21, 2017: A memorable day in the history of Cambridge International School, Jalandhar was created by the students when they brought laurels to the school by participating and winning positions in Prativad (Inter- School Contest) held at GNA University, Phagwara on November 16-17. The event aimed at providing students a unique and highly practical experience. This event was attended by almost 45 schools. Out of the eleven events organized, Cambridge students participated with full zeal and vigour in competitions like Young Chef, Spell Bee, Web Page, Robotronz, Bridge-O-Mania, Online Gaming, Photoshop, Voice of Doaba and Commerce Olympiad.
The team of Spell Bee Competition ie .Garima (Grade 10), Jaspreet and Pranay (Grade11) clinched First Position and a Cash prize of Eleven thousand. Alongwith this, Abhinav Sharma and Kapeesh Prashar (Grade 11) got Second Runners –Up Position in Photoshop competition. It was a wonderful experience as all the teams of Cambridge school were able to qualify for the final round of every event.
On this occasion, Chairman LWES Mr Ajay Bhatia, Vice Chairman LWES Mr Nitin Kohli, President LWES Mr Deepak Bhatia, Senior Executive Director LWES Mr J.K Kohli, CEO LWES Dr Brijesh, Members of School Management Ms Mona Bhatia and Ms Pooja Bhatia, Chief Academic Officer LWES Ms Deepa Dogra, Members of Secretariat LWES Ms Geeta Mahajan, Ms Meenu Huria, Ms SmitaVerma and Principal Ms Kiranjoth Dhillon congratulated the students for their achievements and wished them good luck for their future endeavour. They also extended their appreciation towards the teachers in extending support and guidance to the students to excel in the varied competitions.
