Special Van Under Digital India Outreach Campaign Reaches Ludhiana

Ludhiana, June 4, 2016: Aimed to spread awareness about Digital India and policies of Centre as well as state government, a special van started by the Electronics and Information Technology Department of Ministry of Communications of Information Technology has reached Ludhiana. For the next 25 days, this van would make masses in several villages of district aware about the policies of the NDA government at centre and SAD-BJP government in state. This van was flagged off by ADC (D) Miss Apneet Riyait today morning.
While providing information, Miss Riyait informed that the centre government has started Digital India Outreach Campaign, in which people would be made aware about the programmes as well as welfare schemes/policies started by the government under its Digital India Programme. She said that in next 25 days, this van would visit different villages and give more than 50 presentations. These presentations include a 15-minute long Street play, a 12-minute long video showing welfare schemes started by the Punjab government and a one hour long video showing welfare schemes started by centre government. Besides this, other entertainment material for children in the form of activities have also been planned along with prizes.
Miss Apneet Riyait informed that this van would visit villages Rauni, Dhamot, Ramgarh Sardaran, Ghudani Kalan, Siarh, Rampur, Payal, Malaud and Doraha in Payal sub division, villages Dehlon, Sahnewal and Bhamian Kalan in Ludhiana (East), villages Dhandra, Dugri, Ayali Khurd, Balloke, Dakha, Mullanpur Dakha, Gill, Threeke,
bhattian, Chhapar, Latala, Gujjarwal, Phullanwal, Dad, Lalton Kalan, Mohi, Ayali Kalan, Partap Singh Wala and Baddowal under Ludhiana (West), Raikot town, villages Sudhar, Barundi, Lohatbaddi, Jalaldiwal, Pakhowal, Bassian, Jhorran, Halwara and Akalgarh in Raikot sub division, villages Hathur, Chakar, Lakha, Manuke, Sidhwan Kalan, Malak, Kaunke, Rasoolpur Malla, Kamalpura, Dalla and Malla in Jagraon and Macchiwara and Samrala in Samrala Sub Division.
