Special program to honour services rendered by principals of GNDU affiliated colleges towards society of region

Jalandhar, September 12, 2019: Principals’ Association of Non-Government Affiliated Colleges conducted a special program at Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar to honour the services rendered by the Principals of GNDU Affiliated Colleges towards the society of the region.
Dr.Gurpinder Singh Samra, Principal, Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar and President, Guru Nanak Dev University Affiliated Colleges Principal Association duly welcomed the presence of assembled Principals, both serving as well as superannuated.
Congratulating the guests on the behalf of the GNDU Affiliated Colleges Principal Association, Dr.GS Samra spoke about the tremendous efforts made by the college Principals to keep up their standards at a time of financial difficulties in the higher education system of the region.
Dr.Samra also lauded the efforts of Principals’ Association of Non-Government Affiliated Colleges which played a key role in solving major issues facing colleges by establishing a communicable relationship with both the University as well as the Government of Punjab.
Principals from colleges all over Punjab, also shared their experiences from the stage. The occasion was also marked by the presence of eminent Principals namely, Dr.Mahil Singh, Principal Khalsa College, Amritsar, Dr.Kulwant Singh Randhawa Sikh National College Charankanwal Banga, Dr. Dinesh Sharma SRPA Adarsh Bharti College Pathankot, Dr. Jaspal Singh Principal Guru Nanak National College, Nakodar, Dr. Dharamjit Singh (Retd. Principal) Sikh National College Charankanwal Banga, Dr. Harish Kumar Sood (Retd. Principal) KRM DAV College Nakodar, Principal Retd. Dr. Surjit Kaur from Sant Hira Das Kanya Maha Vidyala Kala Sanghia and were all honored with souvenirs. The function was also witnessed by Principal Dr. Gurdev Singh Randhawa, Guru Nanak National College, Sukhchainana Phagwara, Principal Dr. SK Tuli SSM College Dina Nagar, Principal Dr. Jagraj Singh SPSK Khalsa College Begowal and Dr. SP Mand from college PG Deprtment of Punjabi whilst stage was managed by Dr. Gopal Singh Buttar.
