Special lecture cum practical session on `Physiotherapy Management of Stroke'

Jalandhar, February 18, 2019: Physiotherapy Department of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar organised a special lecture cum practical session on 'Physiotherapy Management of Stroke'. The chief guest of the occasion was Dr.Sandeep Singh, Dept of Physiotherapy, Punjabi University Patiala. College Principal Dr.Gurpinder Singh Samra and Dr.Raju Sharma, Head of Physiotherapy Department gave a floral welcome to the chief guest. Dr.Raju Sharma inaugurated the session by putting light on the problem of Stroke and informed the gathering that there is a rapid growth in the patients of Stroke or Paralysis and it happens due to heart diseases, sugar, lack of physical exercise and the unhealthy diet. The speaker of the occasion Dr.Sandeep Singh thoroughly discussed the topic and also showed the students how to deal and diagnose a patient of Stroke. College Principal Dr. Samra congratulated Dr. Raju Sharma for organising such an informative lecture. Vote of thanks was given by Senior Professor of the department Dr. Jaswant Kaur. The lecture witnessed a huge participation of the students and the staff.
