Jalandhar, May 8, 2018: Students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar brightened its name with their glorious success of receiving Special Festival Mention Award at 8th Dada Sahib Phalke Film Festival 2018.
College students Giriraj Singh and Robinpreet Singh made a movie named The Buffoon which received huge appreciation from the critics and was selected amongst 195 movies out of 1800 entries. The Buffoon got Special Festival Mention in this world wide famous event.
Giriraj Singh, an alumnus of the college has worked as Director along with Robinpreet Singh of BMM Semester II as Assistant Director.
This achievement of the students caused elation for the Principal Dr. Sucharita and she congratulated the proud makers on this accomplishment. She also wished them luck for their bright and fruitful future.
