Speakers highlight need and importance of Green Marketing

Ludhiana, February 7, 2015: After the successful completion of day one of the ICSSR sponsored Seminar on Green Marketing organised  by Post Graduate Department of Commerce & Management, Arya College, Ludhiana,  where around 35 delegates in technical session 1 and around 30 delegates in technical session 2 presented their papers on the issue; the day 2 event began with technical session 3  chaired by an eminent personality Prof.Keshav Malhotra, Dean, Faculty of Business Management & Commerce, Panjab University, Chandigarh and co-chaired by Prof. A.K. Malhotra of Arya College.

Dr. R.C.Tejpal, Principal, Arya College and Prof.A.K.Singla, Head of the department extended the chief guest a very warm welcome. Around 25 delegates from the city and outside the city presented their papers on the contemporary issue which highlighted the need and importance of Green Marketing in this era of consumerism and globalisation and focused on the sustainability issues which can be addressed by the practices of Green Marketing.

The valedictory session presided by Davinder Nath Sharma, President, Management Committee of Arya college and concluded with the speech given by the chief guest for the valedictory session Prof. Rajinder Bhandari, Vice Chairman of Punjab State Planning Board.
