Southern Railway Chennai emerges as winners in 37th All India Railway Women’s Basketball Championship

Kapurthla/Jalandhar, November 11, 2013: 37th All India Railway Women’s Basketball Championship today concluded at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Stadium, Railway Coach Factory, Hussainpur, Kapurthla.

Southern Railway Chennai defeated South East Railway, Bilaspur by 74-48 points.
Western Railway Mumbai defeated Western Railway Mumbai by 72-55 Points and remained third. Nine teams and 100 players participated in the championship.
KK Atal, General Manager, Railway Coach Factory gave away the prize to the winners and felicitated them for their victory.
R.C.F. Khel Sangh General Secretary and FA&CAO R.C.F. G.S. Heera, Sabita Aggarwal, Ram Kumar, Bhupinder Sahi and others were present.
