South Asian Games Champion Honoured in Khalsa College

Jalandhar, March 1, 2016: Jasleen Singh Saini, a player student of Lyallpur Khalsa College who won a gold medal in recently held South Asian Games was honoured today by the college. In a brief function held in the college campus the President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur gave a cash prize of Rs.51000 to Jasleen. Speaking on the occasion, the college principal Dr.G.S.Samra informed that Jasleen was also the winner of gold medal in intervarsity and silver medal in senior national championships and he was going to participate in Pre Olympics being held in Peru and Argentina from 7 to 13 March 2016.
The occasion was witnessed by the presence of Dr. Jaspal Singh Head Department of Physical Education and Sports Dr. S.S. Bains, Prof. Tarsem Singh and the other teachers of the sports department of the college.
