South African Cricketers to reach Dharamshala on Sept 9

Dharamshala, September 5, 2019: A smooth plan for safety and traffic will be prepared during the proposed T-20 cricket match between India and South Africa on September 15 at Dharamshala so that the spectators do not have to face any inconvenience. This information was given by Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati after presiding over the meeting organized with the managers and departmental officials of the HPCA Cricket Stadium at Dharamshala on Thursday. Prajapati said that the law and order, traffic plan and parking of vehicles will be identified during the proposed match, for which a plan is being prepared by the police officers. He said that during the match, guidelines have also been given to the departmental officials for health services, power supply as well as proper supply of drinking water etc. He said that the municipal authorities have been asked to take appropriate steps for cleanliness, along with this, arrangements will be made for lighting from the stadium to ITI so that the spectators can reach safely up to the main road at the end of the match at night. Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati said, “Match between South Africa and India is proposed in Dharamsala on September 15 and according to the information, the team of South Africa is proposed to reach Dharamshala on September 9, while the Indian team will reach Dharamshala on September 13. Administration has made proper arrangements for the safety of the players as well.” ADC Raghav Sharma, SDM Dr.Harish Gajju, ASP Dinesh Kumar, officials of various departments and stadium managers were present on the occasion.
