Sonalika Tractors Ltd conducts placement drive at SBS Technical Campus

Ferozepur: One of the esteemed and reputed multinational automobile company, International Tractors Ltd, Hoashiarpur makers of Sonalika and Solis brand of tractors and farm Mechanization Company which is one of best selling tractors between 20 HP to 110 HP visited Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus for the pool Campus placement drive of B.Tech and Diploma students of this Campus.
The company offered package @ 2.17 Lacs per annum for B. Tech students and @ 1.76 Lacs per annum for Diploma students.
Sh. Atul Narula DGM Assembly, Sh. Tilak Raj DGM Cost Engg, Sh. Manraj Singh DM HR and Ms. Shipra Gupta AM HR visited the Campus from ITL, Hoshiarpur.
Four students from Diploma Mechanical Engg were selected and seven students from B Tech Mechanical Engg were shortlisted. The names of shortlisted students from B. Tech. are Arminderpal Singh, Pawan Kumar Sharma, Sahil Mehra, Sanjeev Kumar, Shivam Kumar, Sourabh Jaggi and Vishal Sharma. The names of selected students from Diploma are Jajpal Singh, Parbhash Kumar Singh, Sonu Kumar and Arjan Singh.
Dr. T.S. Sidhu, Director said that the company selected the candidates after clearing the Written Test and HR-rounds. He proudly said that SBSSTC, Ferozepur has called more than 20 Companies for the recruitment of students in 2019-20 including INFOSYS, WIPRO, SONALIKA, Mechlin Software Technology Pvt. Ltd., NESTLE, Centrient Pharmaceuticals, Ubxty Unboxing Technology, Mphasis, NIIT, TCS, MAQ Softwatre, Byjus, VVDN, VServ Business Solutions, CHC Consulting etc and the same efforts will be carried out in future too for providing job opportunities to the border belt of Ferozepur for uplifting the technical education in this area. Director T.S. Sidhu and TPO Dr. Gazal Preet Arneja (Professor) congratulated the selected students and their families. During the placement drives Er. Sukhwant Singh (HOD ME); Dr A K Asati (TPI ME); Mr Kamal Khanna (TPO - Poly Wing), Mr. Chetan Batra (ATPO-PW), Mr. Ashish Gupta, Mr. Ajay Sharma, Mr. Mahesh and Mr Gurcharan Singh were present. The Training and Placement Cell presented the token of gratitude to the visiting company officials.
