Sonalika Tractors Limited selects 15 students from SBS Campus during Pool Placement Drive

Ferozepur, July 9, 2018: One of the esteemed and reputed multinational automobile company, International Tractors Ltd, Hoashiarpur makers of Sonalika and Solis brand of tractors and farm Mechanization Company which is one of best selling tractors between 20 HP to 110 HP visited Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus for the pool Campus placement drive of B.Tech students of SBS Campus, Ferozepur, GZS Campus, Bathinda and Diploma students of this Campus. The company offered package at Rs. 2.17 lacs per annum for B. Tech students and at Rs.1.76 lacs per annum for Diploma students.

Sh.B. K. Singh (Sr. G.M. HR); Sh. Puneet Rallan (Associate Vice President Assembly); Sh. Sarabjeet Singh (Dy. G.M. Quality) and Sh. Sunny Kaushal (Sr. H.R. Executive) from Sonalika visited the Campus from ITL, Hoshiarpur.

Total 15 students from Mechanical Engg were selected. Out of which 9 were from Diploma and six from B.Tech. The names of students from B. Tech. are Aditya Kumar Yadav, Bhawna Kumari, Gaurav Dhiman, Gurteg Singh, Saurabh Gupta (all from SBS Campus) and Amit Kumar (from GZS Campus). Names of nine students selected from Diploma are Pravin Kumar, Vinaykumar, Shashank Kumar Pandey, Gajendra Kumar, Pankaj Kumar, Arjan Singh Sodhi, Satnam Singh, Amit Kumar Singh and Prince Thapar.

Dr. T.S. Sidhu, Director said that the company selected the candidates after clearing the Written Test and HR-rounds. He proudly said that SBSSTC, Ferozepur has called more than 20 Companies for the recruitment of students in 2018-19 including Infosys, Wipro, Sonalika, Amazon, Nestle, Grey Orange, DSM-Sinochem, CTL, Shri Ram Panels, Livguard Battery, Kudos etc and the same efforts will be carried out in Future too for providing job opportunities to the border belt of Ferozepur for uplifting the technical education in this area. Hon’ble chairman BOG Sh. Akhil Malhotra, Director T.S. Sidhu and TPO Prof. Gazal Preet Arneja (Associate Professor) congratulated the selected students and their families. During the placement drives.
