Soldier Welfare Department to organise Sainik Sammelan at Palampur on Dec 4

Dharamshala, November 29, 2018: Deputy Director Kangra District Soldier Welfare Board, Squadron Leader (Retd) Manoj Rana informed that that the board is organizing a Sainik Sammelan in Shaheed Captain Vikram Batra Auditorium of Holta Camp Palampur on December 4, 2018, at 10.30 a.m.

Rana said, “In this conference, the Sainik Welfare Department will be apprised of the welfare schemes given by the state and central government to the ex-servicemen, war widows and their dependents so that the maximum number of ex-servicemen, war widows and their dependents could be benefited of these welfare schemes.”

He said that a free medical camp would also be conducted in the Sainik Sammelan. Apart from this, officials of DPDO, Palampur, Sainik Welfare and officials of the soldiers help centre will also solve the problems of ex-servicemen on the spot.
