Snatching incident

Ferozepur, August 19, 2012: The increase in gold chain/ear rings snatching incidents is a cause of concern and a major challenge to police department.

ASI Paramjit Singh informed that on the basis of statement given to the police by Parkash Kaur victim of chain snatching, resident of Gali No.40, Baba Ram Lal Nagar has alleged that two motor cycle borne persons have snatched her gold chain near railway bridge and zila parishad office.

He further said that the Sadar Police Station has registered a case in this regard and started further investigation in to the matter to nab the accused persons.
