The Chief minister of Himachal Vir Bhadra Singh in assembly session held in Dharamsala on Friday.
Dharamsala, December 12, 2014: The Chief minister of Himachal Vir Bhadra Singh has informed the house in a written reply in Dharamsala on Friday that the State Government have decided to engage teachers through the School Management Committees( SMCs), purely on period basis in Tribal/Difficult areas against vacant posts.
He further stated that the decision was extended to all schools which were upgraded during academic session 2013-14 and 2014-15 irrespective of the area in which they fall and to all sanctioned posts of teaching cadre which have remained vacant for over 2 years from the date of issue of notification.
Chief Minister stated that the notification was issued on 16th August, 2014.
He was replying to a question of Ravi Thakur MLA of Lahaul & Spiti regarding filling up of vacant post of Teachers through SMG's.
