Small fire broke out in telephone exchange at CMCH

Ludhiana, July 8, 2019: Today evening, there was a short circuit in the telephone exchange (located on the ground floor of CMCH, Ludhiana) which caused small fire, according to an official of the hospital. The fire was successfully controlled with help of CMC Staff and two fire tenders. There was lot of smoke in the area, therefore, patients from CMC Emergency, Ward No.2 and ICU 2 were shifted to other wards for precautionary measures. Emergency services are now resumed, further said the hospital official.
