Chandigarh, April 4, 2016: Punjab Chief Minister Mr.Parkash Singh Badal today mourned the sad demise of Mata Chand Kaur, wife of Late Satgur Jagjit Singh of Namdhari Darbar.
In a condolence message, Mr.Badal expressed sadness over the circumstances of Mata Chand Kaur’s demise.
Meanwhile, the Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Mr.Sukhbir Singh Badal condoling the death of Mata Chand Kaur, ordered the setting up of Special Investigation Team (SIT) under the supervision of ADGP-cum-Director, Bureau of Investigation Mr.IPS Sahota to probe into the circumstances leading to her death.
The SIT would comprise of Commissioner Police Ludhiana Mr.Jatinder Singh Aulakh as Chairman, SSP Khanna Mr.Satinder Singh and AIG (Crime) Mr.Ravi Charan Singh Brar both as members.
