Sidhu chaired meeting with architects for further expedition of online approvals of building maps

Ludhiana, June 3, 2019: Local Government Punjab minister Navjot Singh Sidhu and ACS Venu Prasad listened to problems still being faced by architects while submitting maps for online approvals.
The meeting was attended by senior building branch officials including MTPs from all over Punjab, representatives of software company, architects from IIA Punjab led by Chairman Sanjay Goel, engineers and planners from head quarter. The meeting was held in Chandigarh.
All ongoing deficiencies in system were discussed, noted and concerned officers /software experts were asked to update desired points for comfort of public.
Architects expressed happiness that now online system is getting more acceptable and comfortable to all. It will decrease personal interaction as well as corruption.
Another meeting in continuity shall take place tomorrow to discuss and finalize more issues.
