Sidharth Rawat and Shintaro Imai in Finals of Jassowal ITF Men's Futures US$ 10,000 Tennis Tournament

Jassowal (Ludhiana), May 6, 2016: Seventh seed Sidharth Rawat and Shintaro Imai of Japan sweat it out to make it to the Finals of the HTA–ITF Men’s Futures US$ 10,000 Tennis Tournament being played at Harvest Tennis Academy courts.

Later in the day fourth seeded in doubles Yuichi Ito and Sho Katayama won the Doubles Title defeating third seeds Mohit Mayur Jayaprakash & Vinayak Sharma Kaza 7-5, 7-5.

Prizes to Winners and Runner-ups of Doubles Finals were given by Mr. Jasbir Singh Gill, ADG (retd.) Managing Director, Harvest Campus along with Mr. Paras Thakur, Director Tennis, Mr. Gaurav Bhardwaj, Manager Tennis and Mr. Puneet Gupta, ITF Referee of the Tournament.

Tomorrow Singles Finals will start at 1000 hrs followed by prize distribution ceremony.

Singles Semi Finals Round:

Sidharth Rawat (IND) [7] beat Sho Katayama (JPN) [8] 2-6, 6-3, 6-3; Shintaro Imai (JPN) beat Yuya Ito (JPN) 6-4, 3-6, 6-2.

Doubles Finals Round:

Yuichi Ito (JPN) [4] & Sho Katayama (JPN) beat Mohit Mayur Jayaprakash (IND) & Vinayak Sharma Kaza (IND) [3] 7-5, 7-5.
