Qatar's education system is undergoing rapid transformation and students across the world are coming here for their education. An education conference, EDEX was organised in Qatar to promote the education system of Qatar globally. The conference was aimed to bring together Education Leaders, government Authorities, Investors, Entrepreneurs and Solution Providers to seek out new investment, development and expansion partners from across the region and around the world.
Delegates from around the globe were present in the conference. Doha is the education hub and the revolutionary changes will happen to promote the education system in the country. Indian education system is very popular and accepted globally; therefore, EDEX invited Mrs. Shruti Arora, President, Confederation of Education Excellence to represent India in the conference. Speaking on the occasion Mrs. Shruti said that, Government of India has started the skill development courses in India to recognise the hidden talent of the students. Indian government has initiated the skill development courses and promoting it to every region of India so that maximum people can get benefit under this scheme”. Mrs. Shruti promoted the skill development scheme of India in the conference, which is the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as PM Modi is very keen to promote the skill development scheme in the country.
The two-day EdEx conference and exhibition provides ministries, public and private school leaders with the opportunity to discover the latest ideas and solutions that will help the nation move towards delivering a more competitive education system. The conference was held under the patronage of H E Dr Mohammed bin Abdul Wahid Al Hammadi, Minister of Education and Higher Education, Qatar, supported by the Qatar Chamber and was organised by Informa Tharawat.
