Ludhiana, August 31, 2014: With blessings and inspiration of Swami Satyanand Maharaj and Brahmchari Ram Prakash Maharaj, a free medical check-up of bones and scanning camp was organised today by Shri Swami Satyanand Ji Maharaj Memorial Prabandhak Committee Ludhiana at Shri Ram Sharnam Ashram Naulakha Bagh Colony Ludhiana.
Former Health Minister Punjab Satpal Gosain presided over the camp.
According to the Committee’s Organising Secretary Munish Dutta, around 200 patients were examined and treated in the camp. Scanning that cost Rs.1200 was done free of cost. Expert doctors besides checking free also distributed medicines free of cost.
In his presidential address, Gosain lauded the organisers. He said that there could be no match to human organs provided by the nature. But, the role of doctors could also not be denied in the present era. Mahavir Sewa Sansthan, An-Jal Sewa Trust Ahata Sher Jung, Ludhiana, Naulakha Bagh Colony Welfare Society Ludhiana, Councillor Gurpreet Khurana, Councillor Ajay Nayyar (Tunky), Balwinder Ravi, Committee Members and the entire `sangat’ of Shri Ram Sharnam Ashram contributed specially in making the event a success.
