Govt should ensure safety of Hindu-Sikh families in Pakistan: Shiv Sena

Ferozepur, September 5, 2012 :  In protest against the atrocities on Hindus and Sikhs in Pakistan , the workers of Shiv Sena (Bal Thackray) staged protest under the leadership ofVed Parkash Mittal and burned the flag of Pakistan .

Under instructions of Punjab State president Virender Bajaj, Shiv Sena workers shouting slogans against Pakistan said,  the Hindu-Sikh families living in Pakistan are shifting to India because of terror like situation and helpless Hindu-Sikh families are in a very awkward position. 

Ved Parkash, president alleged that the Centre is not serious about the rehabilitation of Hindu-Sikh families shifting to India .

He further demanded from the government that Hindu-Sikh families shifting to India should immediately be provided the citizenship of India besides making arrangements for their lodging and boarding through the respective governments.  In a memorandum submitted to the district administration, the Shiv Sena workers demanded the safety of Hindu-Sikh families in Pakistan .
