Dharamshala, January 23, 2018: As the rain and snow struck Himachal, after a long and continuous dry spell, the day temperature slides down considerably in the state. The Met Office of the state has reported about the midrate to heavy snowfall on the upper reaches of the mountainous ranges of the state. Whole of state is shivering under a swear cold wave.
Shimla was the first hill station to receive the snowfall today, till 5.30 pm 0.5cm snow was recorded there, after a rainfall 5.5mm in the morning. The snowfall was still going on.
Una got the largest amount of rain, with 12mm of rain followed by Solan 10mm,Dharamshala 7mm,Sunder Nagar 6mm,and Kangra and Bilaspur 3mm each till the last reports reach here.
