Session on “building sustainable business” held at FICO Secretariat

Ludhiana, October 23, 2019: Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organization popularly known as FICO in association with PUM Netherlands organized a session on “Building Sustainable Business” at FICO Secretariat, B-XXI 1856, Jaimal Road, Janta Nagar, Ludhiana. Mr.Leon Husson Country Head PUM Netherlands was the Key Note Speaker along with Mr.K.R. Jain PUM Representative for India. More than 70 members attended the session. Mr.Leon Husson Key Note Speaker said that Industrial units, Companies and Instiutions in developing countries including India, feel the need for specialist knowledge and expertise which is often insufficiently available in the country. The Small and Medium enterprises frequently lack know how on General Management, Quality Control, Technology and Research Development. It is the object of PUM Netherlands Senior Experts to participate in this process of making Knowledge and expertise available to SME's free of charge. Mr. K. R. Jain PUM Representative for India, elaborated it further and said PUM Netherlands Senior Experts financially assisted by Netherlands Government offers knowledge and expertise in 50 sectors of the economy. Our senior experts share their knowledge on a voluntary base with entrepreneurs in more than 30 developing countries and emerging markets worldwide in order to create vibrant businesses & better lives. Besides technical, managerial and development advice, PUM activities are focused on establishing Business Links, Business Incubators, Economic and Commercial cooperation between India and Dutch SME's.
