Jalandhar, July 29, 2015: To popularize turban wearing among students, a seminar was organized in Lyallpur Khalsa College in which S.Manjeet Singh Ferozepuria, turban coach, informed students of different turban styles. Speaking on the occasion the college Principal Dr. GS Samra said that realizing and protecting one’s cultural heritage was one’s duty and it was in this line that such programmes were organized by the college, adding that turban had become an identity for the Punjabis across the world. He also informed that the college was organizing a turban training camp from 29 July to 21 August. The occasion was witnessed by the presence of large number of students and senior teachers of the college.
