Chandigarh, March 12, 2019: The Academic and Resource Training Centre which was recently formulated at the Centre for Social Work, Panjab University organised its first programme as Panel discussion on Gujjar Women an initiative by Punita Behl a research scholar.
The panel discussion was chaired by Professor Ramanjit Johl, Chairperson Department of Public Administration and Professor Vandana Kumar Department of Law.
The Chairperson Dr Monica Munjial Singh said that the research scholars enrolled at the centre would be organising seminars, panel discussions, capacity building programmes etc. every month.
Dr Gaurav Gaur Faculty Social Work added that programmes would also be organised in the rural areas and slums.
Gujjar women shared their experiences which were very motivating and inspiring.
