A seminar being organised jointly by the United Cycle and Parts Manufacturers Association and State Bank of India on Saturday at a Ludhiana hotel to aware the industry about facilities being given by the banks in different schemes.

Ludhiana, March 11, 2013: A seminar was organised jointly by the United Cycle and Parts Manufacturers Association and State Bank of India on Saturday at a local hotel to aware the industry about facilities being given by the banks in different schemes.

In this seminar the Chairman of National Small industries Corporation Dr. H.P Kumar, and SBI Deputy General Manager Dinesh Chander and Deepak Halai also participated. 

Detailed discussions were held on the banking facilities being provided to the industry especially regarding the credit rating. This point was discussed and the bank officers gave details of the benefits of this scheme being provided by the SBI and applicants have to pay no fees for this scheme which is already available in their own bank.

They also apprised the gathering about the CGTMSE scheme which extends guarantee for loan and grantee fee is paid by the government. The gathering was also informed that the persons who will have a better credit rating will be charged less rate of interest to the tune of 1% (better credit rating will get cheaper rate of interest).

The seminar proved to be a blessing in disguise for the development of industry and the same was very much appreciated by the participants.
