Second Phase of Global Kabaddi League Concludes at Ludhiana

-Haryana Lions beat Black Panthers by 59-52
-Singh Warriors Punjab beat Delhi Tigers by 63-45

Ludhiana, October 29, 2018: Haryana Lions beat Black Panthers by 58-52 to register fourth victory in Global Kabaddi League at Punjab Agriculture University Ludhiana’s Astroturf Hockey Stadium here this evening. Now Haryana Lions have 13 points from 10 outings with four wins, one draw and 5 defeats. Haryana Lions entered the semi finals, Where as Black Panthers out of race having 6 points from 9 outings with 2 wins and 7defeats.

In second match Singh Warriors Punjab beat Delhi Tigers by 63-45 to enter the semi finals. Singh Warriors after 9 matches having 19 points with six wins and one draw. Where as Delhi tigers now out of race as they are have 9 points after 10 matches with 3 wins and 6 defeats.

Haryana Lions raiders displayed good game. At the end of first half Haryana Lions was leading by 31-27. In the second half Black Panthers’s players tried their best but not able to control the game. At the end of stipulated time score was 59-52 in favour of Haryana Lions. Haryana Lions’s Captian Viney Khatri earned 16 and Ravi Deaora 17 points, for Black Panthers Makhan Singh earned 15.

In second match Singh Warriors played controlled game. They are leading by 29-20 at Half time. At the end of stipulated time score was 63-45. For Singh’s Rupinder Singh earned 17 and Gurdeep Judge 15 points. For Delhi Sukha mahal scored 12 points. The third phase of the League will be played from 1st November at Mohali. ADC (G) Mr Iqbal Singh Sandhu and Legal Advisor to League Adv. Harpreet Singh Sandhu informed that next and last phase of this league will be played at Mohali from November 1.
