Second day of Four day placement workshop at DAV College

Jalandhar, December 27, 2018: Four Day Placement Workshop on Resume Writing, Mock Interview and Group Discussion has been started by DAV College, Jalandhar by Training and Placement Cell. The purpose of this placement training workshop is to prepare students for future placement drives.

This workshop will last up to 4 days in which students will be prepared for future recruitments and placement initiatives conducted by various companies. In this 4-day workshop, there will be discussions on Open House Discussion, Fish Bowl Technique, Societal Method of Learning, Samplation, Role Play, Flipped Classroom, Online Learning, Games, Speaker Forum.

The speaker of this workshop, Mr. Rahul Sharma, on the second day of workshop guided the students information about Resume Writing. He guided tge students about the do's and dont's while framing a CV. He also guided how a CV can look comparatively attractive and can deliver the best of a candidate. He made students to prepare their Resume and rectified some of them. There was also a doubt clearing session in which studemts asked various questions and Mr Rahul Sharma satisfied them all. He also guided students about an effective group discussion and hpw one can make his/her presence felt in a group discussion.

Dean Training and Placement Cell Prof Manav Agarwal expressed gratitude towards Mr. Rahul Sharma for giving his valuable time to the students. He said that in the 100 year old history of DAV college Jalandhar, this kind of workshop has never happened before and we are obliged to organise such an informative workshop for students.
